Join us at Ecstatic Dance and enjoy a safe space to move without talking, drinking and the nightclub vibe. Ecstatic Dance empowers people of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds to freely express themselves; the liberating atmosphere creates a melting pot of acceptance and the fearlessness with which others move gives permission and courage to dance without inhibition. All are welcomed, including People of Color, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex & Same-Gender Loving People. Ecstatic Dance has been featured on NPR, in the Huffington Post, the SF Chronicle, Common Ground Magazine, and in a blockbuster movie starring the singer Pink.

Q: What was the inspiration behind the event?
A mashup between Freeform Dance and DJ Culture to create a community of like-minded movers and shakers.
